About the Role:
For students aspiring to gain practical experience, this role involves working closely with senior scientists on cutting-edge research topics related to LLM reasoning, post-training methodologies, and agentic AI applied to global crypto markets. Responsibilities include conducting experiments, implementing research ideas, synthesizing papers, collaborating with engineers, and applying research findings to real systems.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to designing and executing experiments in reasoning model training, post-training alignment, and systematic model evaluation in financial and crypto contexts. Review and synthesize recent academic literature to refine ongoing research directions. Implement model variants, training procedures, and evaluation protocols using PyTorch and related tools. Explore the intersection of LLM reasoning and crypto data to identify unique research opportunities for Binance. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement research findings in a production trading environment.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields. Proficiency in Python and PyTorch, with exposure to C++ or Rust being beneficial. Strong understanding of transformer architectures and language model pretraining.
