The Business team comprises a dedicated group of web3 trailblazers propelling the industry to greater heights, inclusive of securing the onboarding of the next billion web3 users. Nurturing a global ecosystem, we actively engage in developing and executing business strategies, crafting communications, managing partnerships, and supporting participants within The Graph Network. Ensuring a flourishing and content ecosystem while cultivating meaningful community relationships is as crucial to us as our morning matcha lattes. The business team encompasses Business Development, Partnerships, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Brand Building, GRT Relations, and Finance / GRT Relations.
We are in search of a motivated self-starter and driven individual capable of thriving in a dynamic, occasionally undefined environment and comfortable with proactively engaging with unfamiliar persons and projects. An individual ardent about Web3 and well-versed with The Graph, dedicated to leveraging business acumen to propel business growth, enhance the user experience within The Graph, and unwavering in their resilience to handle rejection constructively without giving up. This candidate should be enthusiastic about driving organizational growth and success, personable, adept at forging new partnerships with prominent business leaders across blockchain and traditional sectors alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding the collective landscape of all The Graph's ecosystem participants spanning L1 Blockchains, L2 Blockchains, subgraphs, and dapps.
- Cultivating and nurturing relationships with leading protocols, dapps, and relevant entities in the crypto domain.
- Keeping abreast of partners' upcoming events and product launches to offer necessary support.
- Establishing and maintaining positive, impactful partnerships and purposeful relationships crucial to The Graph's Web3 and multi-blockchain strategy implementation.
- Identifying projects utilizing subgraphs and actively maximizing these relationships.
- Coordinating the execution of integration/collaboration initiatives and directing Solutions Engineers towards successful completion.
- Managing top accounts engaging with queries on the decentralized network while converting hosted service users to paying customers on the network.
- Educating new dapp users on transitioning to the network whilst ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
- Promptly addressing any issues arising for existing The Graph users ensuring efficient resolutions and a positive user experience.
- Facilitating both internal and external group events, meticulously managing meeting logistics, agendas, and follow-ups.
- Contributing insights to business strategy and thinking ahead to propel future growth.
- Identifying esteemed partners to enhance the ecosystem as prominent users.

- Proven success in sales, business development, and managing institutional relationships.

- Prior experience in Web3 or blockchain firms, especially in a Business Development role.
- Proficiency in comprehending The Graph, relevant blockchain technology, overall blockchain ecosystems, projects, and communities.
- Demonstrated personal integrity, honesty, and an open personal demeanor.
- Approachable with a talent for engaging partners across all hierarchical levels efficiently.
- Track record of concluding deals in a professional and affable manner.
- Willingness to travel for web3-related conferences at least once per quarter.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Communication, or related fields.
Compensation and Culture:
The total market range for roles at Edge & Node generally falls within $100k - $500k annually, considering total compensation (not just base salary). The company fosters a culture emphasizing meritocracy, personal advancement, and an ego-free environment.
