**Role **

We are in search of self-motivated and analytical contractors to join our Compliance Team based in Singapore. This team is dedicated to mitigating risks for global customers, clients, and the company itself, as well as combatting fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing.

Responsibilities

Client Onboarding: Responsible for collecting and reviewing client information as per MAS standards. Conduct Level 1 checks for client onboarding suitability.

Periodic Review: Conduct data collection and maintain key client information for audit purposes. Keep accurate records of KYC documents and assist in their secure management.

On-going Name Screening: Investigate and resolve any potential name hits generated by batch screening.

Transaction Monitoring: Conduct Level 1 review on transaction activity to align with client profiles. Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.

Experience & Skills required

Demonstrated analytical skills, especially in handling large datasets and investigating customer accounts thoroughly.

Minimum of two years of experience in Banking, FinTech, Compliance, Fraud, or related fields, or a degree in a relevant discipline.

Understanding of cryptocurrencies is preferred but not mandatory – training will be provided.

Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Flexibility to work in a constantly growing team that necessitates 24/7 coverage.

Previous experience in KYC/B or Compliance is a plus.

Overview

The Frontend department's primary focus is on managing all external interfaces on the BitMEX platform.
