Responsibilities:
- Security Architecture and System Design:
- Design and deploy robust cloud security frameworks across diverse environments to safeguard company data and infrastructure.
- Develop secure cloud architectures and solutions tailored to business needs and regulatory standards.
- Security Monitoring and Incident Response:
- Monitor cloud environments for security issues and vulnerabilities utilizing a variety of tools and services.
- Lead responses to security breaches and cybersecurity incidents, conducting detailed post-incident analysis to mitigate future risks.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations such as SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS across all cloud platforms.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, proposing enhancements to bolster security measures.
- Identity and Access Management:
- Manage and configure identity and access management (IAM) systems to enforce appropriate access controls for all cloud services.
- Implement and maintain authentication protocols, authorization mechanisms, and security policies for cloud-based applications.
- Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Leverage automation tools like Terraform to systematically deploy secure infrastructures.
- Implement security as code to seamlessly embed security measures into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaboration and Advisory:
- Collaborate closely with IT and development teams to integrate security controls into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Advise and train team members on cloud security best practices, toolsets, and procedural frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cloud security role, demonstrating expertise in designing and managing secure cloud environments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Profound understanding of cloud computing technologies and challenges related to workload transitions.
- Familiarity with security standards and frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001.
- Proficiency in cloud service provider tools and technologies for securing cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and aptitude for collaborative work across various departments.
