Description
The team responsible for developing and maintaining a cutting-edge trading platform with a global presence is looking for a DevOps Database Administrator. The team aims to deliver a seamless and secure trading experience for clients across different regions.
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, configure, install, and support databases
- Assist in database upgrades, security tool implementations, vulnerability checks, server upgrades, and migration
- Manage platforms, including backup, restoration, troubleshooting, SQL performance tuning, monitoring usage, and capacity planning
- Develop and standardize key database documentation such as operation procedures, security guidelines, deployment architecture, component versions, and patch management decisions
- Automate operations and processes in an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) manner
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Aurora, ClickHouse, and Scylla database administration
- Experience in database architecture design, installation, migration, and upgrade
- Proficiency in AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes configuration
- Familiarity with Linux and Network Concepts
- Knowledge of GitOps with ArgoCD is a plus
