Description
Toku is seeking a dynamic Director of Customer Success with proven leadership skills, extensive experience in customer success management, and a solid background in HR, payroll, or compensation, with preference given to those familiar with Employee of Record (EOR) or Professional Employer Organization (PEO) services. The ideal candidate will excel in a startup environment, actively engaging in daily tasks to ensure top-tier client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage client issues effectively, establish successful client engagement practices, oversee onboarding processes, and ensure client retention and expansion.
- Handle day-to-day customer success operations, including client account setup, issue resolution, and direct support.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key client interactions, synthesizing complex issues and proactively meeting client needs.
- Foster collaboration across multiple functions such as engineering, product development, finance, legal, and payroll to synchronize customer success initiatives with organizational systems.
- Develop team strategies, oversee workflows, establish priorities, and enhance team performance.
- Leverage data insights and deliverables to drive operational decisions and enhance customer results.
- Assist in various projects and tasks to support the fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of customer success experience, including at least 3 years in leadership positions.
- Demonstrated competence in building and expanding successful customer success teams.
- Solid proficiency in HR, payroll, compensation, EOR, or PEO products.
- Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to manage diverse responsibilities as required.
