Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Account Executives to align event marketing strategies with account plans.
  • Strategize, execute, and monitor Merkle Science’s global event presence to optimize lead generation and pipeline growth.
  • Establish event marketing objectives and metrics, conduct post-event evaluations, and suggest optimization strategies based on results.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of event marketing plans to align with overall business strategy.
  • Manage event marketing budgets, track expenses, and effectively communicate budget changes.
  • Act as the main point of contact and leader for event marketing efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear communication and organization of logistical information for event attendees, enhancing their event experience.
  • Evaluate third-party opportunities and foster vendor relationships to improve market exposure and deliverables.
  • Stay informed about partner and key account plans to advocate for alignment.
  • Work with teams and contributors to ensure exceptional execution of deliverables, on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in event marketing, with expertise in trade show project management.
  • Familiarity with B2B or B2G marketing ecosystems is preferred.
  • Proactive and well-organized individual with strong communication skills and the ability to present to senior leadership.
  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting and analysis of marketing metrics.
  • Occasional travel may be required, less than 20%.

Responsibilities
Grow Brave’s awareness by hosting events on campus and touting the benefits of Brave with peers
Collaborate with the Brave marketing team on campaign ideas and engaging activations that meet objectives and drive impact
Ideate and design on-campus events; host events and/or participate in existing campus events such as hackathons, study sessions, etc.
Conduct product demos at events, and share feedback and insights back with the Brave marketing team
Promote Brave to your fellow peers through social media
Share specific sign-up links to drive Brave downloads and usage at your school
Participate in pre-event communication and post-event feedback reports
Stay in communication through one-on-one meetings or Slack conversations weekly with team leads
Requirements
Current undergraduate/graduate student at University of Pennsylvania
Must be enrolled in at least 50% of in-person classes
Major in business administration, marketing, and sales with a strong interest in event planning
Able to commit at least 2-8 hours per week to host events with students on your campus (and ideally much more)

Actively involved in campus organizations and communities
Effective communicator who enjoys networking with others
Reliable and willing to learn and grow
