Finance Manager, Accounting Advisory
The Finance & Accounting team covers key functions including Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury, and Operations. The team collaborates to optimize global finance initiatives, emphasizing attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on significant accounting issues, market trends, and regulatory updates. Perform detailed financial, cash flow, and income statement analyses to evaluate the impact of new accounting standards or regulations.
- Offer guidance on business processes and internal controls related to accounting changes.
- Provide technical support to the finance team regarding complex accounting matters.
- Update and uphold the group's accounting policies to align with the most recent accounting standards.
- Act as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication on accounting matters.
- Undertake additional tasks as delegated to support business requirements.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business; advanced degrees or CPA certification are desirable.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting/technical accounting, with prior audit experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or US GAAP.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling; experience in financial instrument valuation is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical, project management, presentation, and communication skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
