Finance Manager, Technical Accounting
The F&A team encompasses various functions such as Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury, and Operations. The team collaborates on optimizing global finance initiatives, thrives on attention to detail, and manages multiple projects simultaneously across diverse scopes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on key accounting issues, market trends, and regulatory updates. Perform analyses on financial, cash flow, and income statements to evaluate the impact of new accounting standards or regulations.
- Provide guidance on business processes and internal controls related to accounting changes.
- Offer technical support to the finance team concerning complex accounting matters.
- Update and maintain the organization's accounting policies to comply with the latest standards.
- Act as the liaison between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication on accounting subjects.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned to meet business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business is a must; advanced degrees or CPA certification are preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting/technical accounting, with prior audit experience being beneficial.
- Profound knowledge of US GAAP.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial instrument valuation is advantageous.
- Exceptional skills in analysis, project management, presentation, and communication.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
