About the Role: 
The Accountant will be responsible for handling the full set of accounts and daily accounting operations for subsidiaries of the Bitcastle Group. You will perform bookkeeping tasks, prepare financial reports, and support the Finance team in ensuring accurate and timely financial information for management decision-making.
Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain full set of accounts for assigned entities within Bitcastle Group
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports for management review
Assist in the preparation of group financial consolidation reports
Prepare tax filing documents and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
Prepare cashflow management reports and perform bank reconciliation
Perform crypto wallet and exchange reconciliation
Record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments accurately and timely
Support profit and loss reporting and basic financial analysis
Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting systems and processes
Prepare financial data required for transfer pricing documentation
 
Collaborate with the Finance team to identify accounting issues and propose solutions
Coordinate with the data team to ensure accuracy of automated reports capturing revenue, expenses, and cryptocurrency balances
Requirements: 
Min N2 Japanese language proficiency
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience handling full set accounts
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheet
Preferred Qualification:
Experience in crypto or forex industry
Tech-savvy and comfortable with adopting new technologies

About the Role: 
We are looking for a Fraud Monitoring Executive to join the Bitcastle team. In this role, you will manage and oversee fraud monitoring processes to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities and unusual transaction patterns within our forex trading platform. You will ensure timely review and escalation of fraud alerts, maintain compliance with internal standards, and support reporting to management for effective risk management.
Manage and oversee scenarios embedded in the Fraud Monitoring System and fraud risk indicators to monitor internal and external activities for fraudulent behavior and unusual transaction patterns
Ensure fraud monitoring processes comply with the company's code of conduct and adhere to the highest standards of ethics
Conduct timely reviews of fraud alerts and ensure proper escalation and closure through the appropriate channels
Prepare periodic reports for management on the results of fraud monitoring, including corrective actions taken
Use monitoring results and evaluations to standardize fraud monitoring processes and highlight risks noted during reviews to report them to relevant business units
Requirements: 
At least 2-3 years of working experience in fraud monitoring, investigations, or compliance
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving
Preferred Qualification:
Relevant certifications in analytical techniques, fraud investigation, or decision-making
Experience in fraud monitoring within forex, financial institutions, or trading platforms o

Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or US GAAP.

Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling; experience in financial instrument valuation is advantageous.

About the Position

Toku seeks an accomplished payroll professional to oversee all business-as-usual (BAU) payroll operations and to lead critical projects and initiatives independently. The ideal candidate will establish processes, entities, and industry best practices while effectively managing day-to-day operations, with limited supervision. They will take the lead on Eastern European payrolls and serve as the primary contact for additional responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and organize payroll data for submission to processing providers

Coordinate data preparation and submission across multiple countries through various methods

Interface with payroll providers for submissions and resolution of related inquiries

Validate and reconcile payroll data within stipulated timelines to ensure accurate and compliant payments to employees and third parties

Act as the first point of contact for inquiries from internal staff, external parties, partners, and vendors

Address queries from various internal departments including HR and finance

Ensure up-to-date records, procedures, and processes

Implement new country payrolls compliantly and efficiently

Facilitate smooth transitions from current providers to new providers
