We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Financial Reporting professional. This role primarily involves managing accounting and financial reporting for investment entities, supporting the preparation of financial statements for subsidiaries, and overseeing full-set accounting for smaller-sized entities. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate accounting records for investment entities through journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
Track and account for investment transactions, valuations, and associated income and expenses.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist in preparing financial statements like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for subsidiaries.
Manage end-to-end accounting for smaller entities, including tasks like accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for smaller entities.
Identify opportunities for process streamlining in accounting and reporting for increased efficiency.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as necessary.
Requirements / Skill Sets
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
3-6 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit, with exposure to investment entities or financial services being a plus.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Experience with full-set accounting and smaller entity management is advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative team approach.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
