Graphic Designer, Europe
Based within the Binance Global Creative Team, the Graphic Designer role involves creating top-tier design work for Binance, a leading cryptocurrency exchange platform. The primary responsibilities include producing innovative, impactful designs that meet the diverse creative needs of Binance while enhancing the global brand image.
Working under the guidance of the Global Design Lead, the Graphic Designer collaborates closely with the creative team and various internal departments. Tasked with generating digital graphics, merchandise designs, campaign materials, motion graphics, and communications across multiple channels like social media, websites, events, and digital marketing.
Additionally, the designer will mentor and support junior designers, aid in team administration duties, and act as the main point of contact for local marketing teams, specifically in the EU region.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Design Delivery:
- Translate and execute creative briefs to produce exceptional design work for Binance’s MENASA region and global campaigns, maintaining alignment with the brand’s creative direction.
- Deliver a range of creative assets, including key visuals, design executions, events, social media content, customer communications, and digital advertising materials.
- Collaborate with design leads, senior designers, project managers, and copywriters to plan and deliver integrated campaigns as scheduled.
- Act as the creative liaison for EU local marketing teams, leading creative endeavors on regional and broader campaigns.
- Create engaging digital creatives to support acquisition and retention objectives by driving awareness, traffic, and user engagement.
- Utilize campaign performance insights to continually optimize creative outputs based on provided feedback.
- Identify new opportunities for innovation in daily creative workflows and challenge existing conventions.
- Develop and deliver brand and content assets that align with Binance’s specific design standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant branding and design developments.
Creative Operations:
- Collaborate with senior designers and design leads to refine creative processes and ensure project efficiency and integration.
- Work closely with the broader creative team and marketing partners to ensure a cohesive omni-channel approach across campaigns.
Team and Relationship Management:
- Manage daily tasks to deliver work promptly and to the required standards.
- Promote a positive and innovative culture within the global creative team.
- Offer guidance and expertise to junior team members and assist with their onboarding.
- Coordinate with third-party suppliers and freelance resources to meet project goals.
- Cultivate strong relationships with Global and EU marketing teams and other functions to support the Binance brand vision.
- Continuously strive to enhance the team’s creative design, digital, and social media capabilities.
Key Requirements:
- Experienced graphic/brand/digital designer with over 5 years in a global in-house or agency setting.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality digital assets within tight deadlines, ideally in industries like lifestyle, sports, fashion, or crypto.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and knowledgeable in 3D software.
- Familiarity with task/project management tools like Asana, Google Docs, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with and utilization of generative AI is advantageous.
- Strong focus on brand and customer needs with creative thinking, idea generation, and visual judgment.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills; knowledge of other languages is a bonus.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, work in teams, and coordinate with third-party agencies.
- Positive, creative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders positively.
