About the team: The role of Institutional Product Marketing Director is within the Global Product Marketing team, responsible for bringing our product narratives to the market. Collaborating closely with Product, Business, Client Support, and other Marketing teams, we translate value propositions into compelling messages for clients and prospects, driving acquisition, engagement, and retention.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Marketing Leadership: Devise and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy specifically focused on OKX's institutional products to enhance adoption, engagement, and expansion.
Product Positioning: create compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with institutional clients using market insights and customer feedback.
Go-To-Market Execution: Oversee the implementation of marketing campaigns, including strategies to introduce new products and features tailored for the institutional market.
Thought Leadership: Represent the organization through public engagements, conferences, media exposure, and authored contributions. Cultivate thought leadership and enhance industry conversations as a crypto-focused leader.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration across various teams like product, sales, and client support to ensure a unified user experience and product messaging.
Product Feedback Loops: Establish and manage a feedback loop with institutional users to collect insights and drive product improvements.
Market Research: Lead market research initiatives to grasp industry trends, competitor approaches, and client expectations.
What We Look For In You
Experience: A minimum of 10 years experience in product marketing, emphasizing institutional clients within fintech or cryptocurrency realms.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire teams and execute marketing strategies in a fast-paced environment.
Financial Markets Knowledge: Profound comprehension of financial markets, trading concepts, and investment strategies, including familiarity with stocks, bonds, cryptocurrencies, forex, commodities, and derivatives.
Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of direct, digital, and content marketing with the agility to explain complex products to diverse audiences.
Communication and Influence: Exceptional communication skills with the capability to influence strategies and communicate complex products effectively.
External Engagement and Thought Leadership Experience: Established proficiency in representing an organization through public engagements, conference involvement, and media interaction. Proven record of developing thought leadership through public speaking and engagement with crypto and financial industry events. Media training background preferred for acting as a public representative of the organization.
Market Analysis: Demonstrated skills in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting within the digital asset space.
