Flow Traders is seeking a HR Business Partner to join the EMEA HR team based in the Amsterdam office. The primary focus of this role will involve providing coaching and guidance to managers on various employee-related matters. The HR Business Partner will play a crucial role in shaping and executing Flow Traders' people strategy, fostering a culture of success within the organization. Collaboration with regional leadership and the Head of HR is key to maintaining the company culture and fostering a strong HR-business relationship.

The existing Amsterdam HR team comprises HR Business Partners, HR Generalists, and a Reward and Policies Specialist.

What You Will Be Doing:

Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for the following:

  • Offering strategic HR insights to the business
  • Providing managerial support on employee-related topics such as talent development, performance management, engagement, sick leave, HR data reporting, and more
  • Handling employee relations matters by addressing inquiries, developing solutions, guiding management and staff, and ensuring timely resolutions
  • Leading the implementation of HR projects within specified timeframes, ensuring consistency across the organization, and identifying areas for enhancement
  • Regularly analyzing and interpreting workforce metrics to drive continuous process improvement

To Succeed in this Role, You Need:

  • A university degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in an international setting
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English (both spoken and written at a business level)
  • Sound knowledge of Dutch Labor Law and statutory requirements
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR systems
  • A passion for fostering employee engagement and empowerment
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and a results-oriented approach with a focus on a positive employee experience
  • The capacity to challenge conventional practices to drive business growth
  • The ability to align functional strategies with talent and culture initiatives, developing clear action plans for management execution
  • Strong analytical and numerical capabilities to distill key insights from data
  • Availability for a minimum of 32 hours per week
