Position Summary
As an HR Generalist at CleanSpark, you will play a vital role in supporting our expanding workforce by overseeing day-to-day HR functions, guaranteeing adherence to employment laws in various states, and spearheading key HR initiatives across multiple locations to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage various employee lifecycle processes, such as new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Act as the primary contact for employee and supervisor inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general HR queries.
- Maintain HRIS data entry and reporting accuracy for employee records, benefits enrollment, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers in complete recruitment cycles, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer preparations.
- Conduct and coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including orientation and integration.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, contribute to the development and rollout of HR policies and procedures.
- Administer compliance training programs, such as harassment prevention, safety, and cybersecurity, to maintain regulatory standards.
- Produce HR metrics and reports for turnover, headcount, and compliance tracking, providing insights for workforce planning purposes.
- Support employee engagement strategies, recognition programs, and organizational culture initiatives.
- Assist in managing employee relations cases and performance management by preparing necessary documentation and collaborating with HR leadership.
- Engage in HR projects and process enhancement efforts to improve operational efficiency and support company growth.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multi-state setting.
- Proficiency in federal, state, and local employment laws with demonstrated experience ensuring compliance.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust across all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational capabilities in managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and HRIS platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent).
- Experience in industries like construction, engineering, technology, or energy/mining.
- Familiarity with HR systems like Paylocity or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in HR reporting, analytics, and process improvement.
Salary
$65,000 - $75,000 annually.
This role may involve duties requiring the operation of a company vehicle or travel between job sites. Candidates should be insurable under CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy.
