HR Generalist
This role involves providing comprehensive support across Recruitment and Human Resources functions throughout the entire employee journey. Leveraging expertise in talent acquisition and employee relations, the position offers guidance and leadership in various areas including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and cultural initiatives. Additionally, the role contributes to the implementation of the organization's global people strategy and associated projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Publicizing open positions through the company's career site, LinkedIn, and job boards.
- Conducting preliminary candidate assessments via phone, video, or in-person interviews and presenting a curated selection of top candidates for review.
- Managing the applicant tracking system and job boards to ensure up-to-date postings.
- Collaborating with Hiring Managers to recognize recruitment needs, essential candidate qualifications, and drafting compelling job descriptions.
- Facilitating communication between interview panels, Hiring Managers, and candidates for a streamlined interview process.
- Working with stakeholders to establish competency-based interview questions for consistency and quality.
- Partnering with business leaders to influence strategic recruitment approaches and align expectations on various recruitment metrics.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations cases, escalating matters as needed.
- Independently leading investigations, providing feedback, and coaching managers.
- Providing informed guidance, coaching, and support to managers to ensure fair resolution of people-related issues.
- Keeping abreast of employment laws to offer accurate advice to managers.
People Strategy and Projects:
- Contributing to the formulation of the People Strategy and driving relevant project initiatives forward.
- Proactively suggesting ideas, taking the lead on projects, and executing assigned tasks.
Reporting & Administration:
- Analyzing relevant data such as career development progress and employee feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Drafting and updating key HR documents including employment contracts and policies.
- Collaborating with the Administration Analyst to ensure accurate employee data and precise payroll processing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist role.
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire employee lifecycle.
- Proficient in HR best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, including employment legislation and conflict resolution.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with business leaders and employees, offering valuable guidance.
- Hands-on experience in handling grievances and performance management matters formally and informally.
- Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Previous experience in the gambling or entertainment industry is a plus.

Relationships:
This position will report to the Global Senior HR Business Partner and collaborate closely with colleagues in the People & Culture team, as well as engage with business leaders and employees across the organization. Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders of all levels will be essential for collective goal achievement.
