The Opportunity
As a Summer Finance Intern at Auros, you will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of our business operations. Your main focus will be working closely with the finance and legal teams, under the guidance of the CFO. You will participate in market assessments, data analysis, risk management, venture capital analysis, as well as support legal and compliance tasks.
In this dynamic role, you will develop a well-rounded understanding of the interconnected dynamics within the blockchain industry. You will work on projects such as:
Market Analysis:
- Assessing market size, major players, potential growth, and customer segments within market making, OTC trading, prop trading, etc.
- Evaluating sectors for each business line, Auros' market positioning relative to competitors, customer segments, growth drivers, barriers, and trends.
- Analyzing strategies for expanding market share in comparison to competitors.
Competitor Analysis:
- Identifying new international market entrants, primary competitors, business expansions, valuation, revenue streams, products, clients, company size, and headcount.
- Researching regulatory jurisdictions, competitor expansions, EBITDA multiples, and comparisons in M&A or VC funding within industry.
Fund Raising:
- Compiling lists of virtual data room providers and trading companies in both traditional and crypto markets.
- Identifying past fund raisings and valuations.
Who you are
Our ideal candidate should possess:
- A strong enthusiasm for working in the crypto and blockchain industry.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous internship experience would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Self-driven individual capable of working independently.
- Analytical mindset and proficient research skills.
- Proficiency in English.
