Who We Are:

Ethena Labs is a company working on developing an Ethereum-based yield-bearing synthetic dollar. Our team consists of experienced professionals from both traditional finance and crypto engineering backgrounds, with affiliations to respected companies such as Cerberus, Wintermute, Flow Traders, Deribit, Paradigm, Aave, Blockdaemon, and Kaiko. We have secured support from major exchanges and trading entities within the industry.

What We are Doing:

Our main objective is to build derivative infrastructure to enable Ethereum to transition into the Internet Bond. This will be achieved through the creation of delta-neutral derivatives positions, resulting in the establishment of the first crypto-native, yield-bearing synthetic dollar: sUSDe.

We strongly believe that developing a synthetic dollar which does not rely on existing banking infrastructure is the most crucial problem to solve and the greatest opportunity in the crypto field today.

USDe will be the first component of a larger product ecosystem we are constructing. This ecosystem will include fixed and floating rate internet bonds, as well as composable repo leveraged markets.

The Opportunity:

As we are in the early stages of our company, we are seeking individuals with a diverse range of expertise to help us evolve, scale, and grow.

Determining the required skill sets and when to bring them on board is a key strategic initiative our leadership is currently working on. This means that multiple positions will be opening up in the coming months.

It would be highly beneficial for us to hear from you sooner rather than later. By doing so, if a suitable opportunity that aligns with your skills and experience becomes available, you will be our first contact for consideration.

Over the next 6 to 12 months, we anticipate the need to build and expand the following teams:

• Engineering - Onchain (Solidity), Offchain (React, Python, Web3 tools & libraries), DevOps, Quant.
• Product & Design
• Marketing & Community
• Business Development & Partnerships
• Research & Data Science
• Operations
• Legal

We are particularly interested in individuals with previous experience in DeFi and Web3, especially those involved in prominent projects.
