Role Overview
We seek an energetic Marketing Manager to spearhead events and community expansion specifically tailored for the Australian market. The primary focus of this role is to reinstate brand confidence, enhance local presence, and engage with the community at the grass-roots level in Australia. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating and executing culturally relevant events that comply with regulations while building intense user connections through various activities ranging from small community gatherings to large-scale campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Event Strategy & Execution
- Strategize and conduct a variety of events including community meetups, educational workshops, partner activations, and experiential campaigns.
- Oversee all event aspects from planning and vendor management to execution and post-event evaluation.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Develop event formats that prioritize trust and alignment with current market dynamics.
Community Building & Engagement
- Establish and nurture a loyal local community both online and offline.
- Identify and manage influential community leaders and micro-KOLs.
- Create advocacy programs that focus on genuine support rather than incentivization.
- Take charge of local communication channels for consistent brand representation.
Brand & Reputation Rebuild
- Craft regionally tailored, trust-centric messaging based on the global brand ethos.
- Lead initiatives that position Binance as responsible, compliant, and user-focused.
- Collaborate with PR to maintain coherence between events, messaging, and media portrayal.
Partnerships & Local Collaborations
- Identify and initiate partnerships with universities, Web3 communities, financial groups, and cultural hubs.
- Cultivate credible local alliances to reinforce brand perception.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Monitor key metrics such as event turnout, community growth, and acquisition costs.
- Continuously refine event formats based on local effectiveness.
Requirements:
Experience
- Possess 4–7+ years of experience in events, community, or brand marketing.
- Demonstrable experience in the Australian market.
- Background in crypto, fintech, or startup environments preferred.
- History of executing successful, well-attended events.
