The Senior Revenue Accountant position is a distinctive opportunity offering to establish effective operational processes for newly emerging business sectors within a high-growth pioneer in the digital asset realm. This role plays a pivotal part in the month-end close operations with a specific emphasis on fee calculations and billing procedures, tasked with contributing to scalability by formulating and implementing revenue-related policies, practices, and controls.

Technical Skills:
- Proficient in U.S. GAAP and familiarity with ASC 606 to determine suitable accounting entries aligned with the Company’s accounting policy.
- Advanced capabilities in utilizing Google Sheets for streamlined handling of extensive datasets.
- Aptitude to resolve a diverse range of challenges by proffering innovative solutions, adaptable to evolving circumstances swiftly.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Act as a central resource for coordinating fee computations and settlements with external business associates and ensure a prompt month-end close process.
- Drive forward improvements in fee calculation methodology, including system testing, implementing controls for solution integrity prior to deployment, and adeptly managing multiple lines of business.
- Contribute to ad hoc ventures, reinforcing proactive communication on impacts to ongoing projects and recurring obligations.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Insight into Anchorage's strategic direction and participation in strategic planning exercises and team goal-setting.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies arising from flux analysis and account reconciliations.
Communication and Influence:
- Cultivate a constructive work environment through effective listening, communication, employing empathy with team members, and exemplifying cultural values.
- Encourage shared consciousness within the organization by actively engaging in problem-solving forums, documenting resolutions for collective benefit, and spearheading cross-functional collaboration in matters related to client fees.
- Serve as the primary liaison for the product and data science team concerning client fee-related issues and support internal and external audit activities to ensure financial reporting precision and timeliness.
Requirements for the role may include:
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm or a dynamic start-up/fintech setting.
- Bachelor's degree with a focus on Accounting, Business, Economics, and/or Finance (CPA preferred).
- Proficiency in ASC 606, U.S. GAAP, and SOX compliance, demonstrating a record of driving robust financial performance.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, strong oral and written communication skills, cross-functional project management abilities, multitasking capability, adaptability in ambiguous situations, and a thriving pace in a rapidly evolving work environment.
Preferred skills, though not mandatory:
- Proficiency with NetSuite, familiarity with SQL, Google Apps Script, or no-code process automation tools, keeping abreast of blockchain and crypto developments, and a strong penchant for the Hamilton soundtrack, which chronicles the foundation of a new financial system.
