SUMMARY

We are seeking a Miner Technician II to join our team in Granbury, TX. This role involves maintaining and repairing mining equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing preventive maintenance tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Conduct routine inspections on mining equipment to identify and resolve potential problems.
  2. Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery to uphold optimal functionality.
  3. Collaborate with team members, including mining engineers, to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  4. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all mining activities.
  5. Assist in installing and configuring new mining equipment.
  6. Monitor equipment performance and adjust as necessary to enhance efficiency.
  7. Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities and equipment conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in mining technology preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant fields such as production, manufacturing, construction, or electrical troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with mining equipment, machinery, and related technologies.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering diagrams.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail skills.
  • Physical abilities to stand for extended periods and lift/carry weights of 30-50 lbs.
  • Willingness to strictly follow safety guidelines.
