Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Identifying and engaging potential clients in the designated area through various methods such as research, cold calling, door-to-door selling, and networking.
- Traveling within the assigned territory as required for an outside sales representative, likely spending multiple hours driving to meet customers.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients to comprehend their needs and effectively promote our products.
- Delivering in-person presentations, meetings, and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our offerings.
- Devising tailored sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive stance.
- Managing the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with clients, addressing any concerns with the support of the manager.
- Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline using SalesForce.
- Representing the company as a brand ambassador and upholding professional values.
- Contributing to a collaborative team environment by sharing best practices with colleagues.
- Continuously improving sales skills, product knowledge, and performance.
Qualifications required:
- Prior experience in door-to-door sales is preferred.
- Anticipated travel commitment of over 50%.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant sales experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective negotiation and relationship building.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to establish enduring relationships with clients and team members.
