We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Operations Specialist to aid the payroll team in ensuring accurate data management and reconciling payslips. This role demands a keen eye for detail, sound analytical capabilities, and efficient handling of payroll information while adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Payslip Reconciliation:
- Thorough review and reconciliation of payroll reports to validate payroll calculations coherence.
- Identify and rectify any discrepancies in payroll data in collaboration with internal teams and external providers.
- Validate payroll adjustments, deductions, and tax withholdings for accuracy.
Payroll Data Management & Operations:
- Accurately upload payroll data and payslips into internal and external databases, ensuring completeness and precision.
- Update and maintain payroll records to reflect changes in employee compensation, tax codes, and benefits.
- Ensure adherence to local payroll regulations and company policies during payroll data management.
Process Enhancement & Compliance:
- Recognize opportunities to streamline payroll reconciliation and data entry procedures.
- Aid in payroll audits and reports to certify compliance with financial controls and labor laws.
- Adhere strictly to confidentiality and data security protocols while handling confidential payroll data.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2+ years in payroll operations, finance, or related fields.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in payroll systems like ADP, Workday, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Competence in databases, Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros), and reconciliation tools.
