Responsibilities:

• Lead the evolution of BNDS (Binance Design System): Enhance the foundational framework and core components, optimize relevant state logic, and ensure compatibility with multiple platforms and real-world business requirements.
• Develop and manage the BNDS documentation system and asset library: Comprise component usage guidelines, interaction specifications, and explanations of relevant Design Tokens. Facilitate efficient reuse for business designers and R&D teams to streamline cross-team collaboration.
• Tailor design solutions to specific business scenarios: Tackle user pain points by creating designs for microinteractions and other related motion effects that bolster user trust, operational smoothness, and overall user experience.
• Facilitate design implementation through collaborative efforts: Coordinate with frontend/architecture engineers to devise technical implementation strategies for components, and resolve intricate issues during the "design-development" handover (e.g., component responsiveness, state switching compatibility). Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between BNDS and Binance's global brand visual language, in compliance with regional requirements.
• Empower designers across various departments: Communicate BNDS design principles and usage standards through training, workshops, and case studies. Gather inputs from designers in different business domains, and refine BNDS based on data analysis to enhance its practicality and scope.

Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of experience in design systems, showcasing a track record of crafting product-level design systems from scratch or optimizing existing ones. Proficient in managing the end-to-end process of component design, adhering to multi-platform design guidelines and principles.
• Proficiency in Figma, adept at utilizing Components, Variables, Auto Layout, and Variants to build component libraries conducive to reuse in diverse scenarios.
• Understand Web3/blockchain product design, grasp trading workflows, business operation logic, and wallet interaction rules to translate blockchain business logic into clear design solutions.
• Pay attention to user experience details, well-versed in accessibility design standards and capable of incorporating needs of diverse users into component design while balancing security and usability.
• Exhibit systems thinking, emphasizing global reusability, scalability, and compatibility of components.
• Possess strong cross-team communication skills, ensuring alignment of goals among designers, R&D, product, and marketing teams, and effectively conveying design rationale.
• Emphasize attention to detail and execution abilities, maintaining high standards of design precision and interaction logic details and delivering high-quality results on time in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate learning agility, keeping abreast of Web3 design trends and industry practices for design systems, and integrating new insights for BNDS optimization.
• Feature design experience in pertinent sectors like crypto exchanges/platforms or blockchain wallets, with a solid understanding of the blockchain ecosystem and core business scenarios.
• Proficiency in English, with additional languages being an advantage, to collaborate effectively with overseas partners and stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with remote/distributed teams and mastery of fundamental HTML/CSS/JavaScript syntax.
