As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) within Ledger, you will collaborate with QA Automation Engineers to craft tools and practices allowing product squads to manage test automation and uphold deliverable quality independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing tools to enhance quality assurance processes throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Establishing and sustaining workflows for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Crafting test automation frameworks and driving their implementation.
- Devising and executing strategies for effective automation testing.
- Integrating automated testing within Quality Assurance norms.
- Facilitating workshops and pair-programming activities with various teams.
- Engaging with product squads to convey improvement strategies, share experiences, best practices, and lessons learned.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficient in developing test automation solutions with TypeScript.
- Experience in web automation testing frameworks like Playwright, Detox, or Selenium.
- Competency in front-end and back-end testing tools and methodologies.
- Sound understanding of development processes, design patterns, and programming principles.
- Track record of designing workflows and constructing CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid analytical skills and adept at problem-solving.
- Collaborative team player with outside-the-box thinking.
- Keen to innovate and stay updated on emerging trends for business advancement.
- Exceptional communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Background in blockchain products testing and automation.
- Knowledge of Java.
- Well-versed in various programming languages.
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker containers, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in French (bonus).
