Description
As a Quantitative Developer at Kronos, you will be an integral part of a top-tier trading team, collaborating with quantitative researchers to design and implement high-frequency trading algorithms. Your responsibilities will include developing new trading strategies, maintaining existing ones, and providing essential technical support to the team. Responsibilities
- Strategy Implementation and Maintenance: Create and optimize trading logic to meet specific requirements, support the long-term development of the trading team.
- DeFi Integration: Extend infrastructure for algorithmic trading on various DeFi protocols, develop smart contracts in solidity, and stay informed on DeFi API changes and industry standards.
Requirements
- Degree: Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Physics, Financial Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative field.
- Programming Proficiency:
- Programming Languages: Advanced skills in C++ and Python in a Linux environment.
- Software Engineering: Proficient in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Quality Assurance: Ability to produce clean, efficient, and well-structured code.
- Independent Working Capability: Skilled in implementing features, writing testing scripts, and resolving issues independently.
- DeFi Proficiency:
- Blockchain Fundamentals: Understanding of smart contracts, web3, DAOs, etc.
- Solidity Proficiency: Able to create, deploy, and work with smart contracts in Solidity.
- DeFi Protocols: In-depth knowledge of DeFi protocols and best practices in interacting with them.
- API Proficiency:
- Comprehensive understanding of various communication protocols, including RESTful APIs, WebSocket, FIX, GRPC, etc.
- Knowledge of signature algorithms like ECDSA, API versioning, error handling, and optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting technical issues during API integration.
- Personality:
- Enthusiastic about trading with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes in finance, and demonstrate accountability.
- Excellent communication skills and effective team engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of financial markets, exchanges, high-frequency trading, and cryptocurrencies.
- Experience in DeFi, DApps, and smart contracts.
- Proficiency in C++ or willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in SQL and bash programming.
