Rust Blockchain Systems Engineer Lead (APAC)

About You

As a Blockchain Research and Software Engineering company, our focus spans from foundational cryptography research to protocol development. We are currently seeking a skilled Blockchain Engineer to lead projects within our AI and ZK teams, supporting project lifecycles from inception to completion through leadership, design, and optimization of protocols essential to Web3 progress.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee engineering projects throughout their lifecycles with detailed planning and tracking
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team while addressing technical challenges
• Act as the main point of contact for project updates and effectively communicate progress to stakeholders
• Conduct R&D and drive the design and development of distributed, fault-tolerant systems
• Contribute to both closed and open-source projects while collaborating with internal and external Web3 teams
• Explore cutting-edge tools and technologies in the blockchain domain and stay informed on industry advancements

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years in managing engineering teams and leadership roles
• Proficient in programming with a specific requirement for Rust experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• In-depth understanding of Ethereum blockchain architecture and good software engineering practices
• Capacity to write clean, maintainable code without complexity
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and problem-solving abilities
• Extensive software development experience and a robust Computer Science background
• Enthusiasm for blockchain technology and its functions
• Nice to Have skills include development experience with Starknet and Cairo, familiarity with zk proof systems, cryptography knowledge, mathematics background, and a track record of GitHub activity
