Sales Lead, Derivatives & Digital Asset Markets
About the Role
A Sales Lead is sought by Crypto.com who aims to play a pivotal role in the convergence of regulated derivatives and digital assets in today's financial markets. As the Sales Lead, you will be responsible for the growth of the Exchange business in the US, establishing and nurturing connections with firms, traders, and institutions engaged in binary derivatives and CFTC-regulated crypto products.
This role goes beyond simply following a predefined strategy. It involves building a client base in a rapidly evolving market, collaborating closely with product, legal, and compliance teams to structure deals and introduce new offerings. Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales cycle for institutional and professional clients across Exchange products in the US market
- Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with trading firms, hedge funds, family offices, and other institutional entities involved in derivatives and digital asset markets
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, overseeing onboarding, continuous relationship management, and revenue expansion
- Work in partnership with product, legal, and compliance teams to formulate client agreements and deliver bespoke solutions to market
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as a subject matter expert in CFTC-regulated derivatives and digital asset products
- Offer market feedback and competitive insights to drive product roadmap decisions
- Monitor pipeline, activity, and revenue metrics with a focus on achieving measurable results
Requirements
- Direct experience in or selling into CFTC-regulated markets is essential; familiarity with DCM, FCM, or CFTC-regulated derivatives products is highly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in institutional sales or business development in financial markets, with proven success in closing and managing complex client relationships
- Previous exposure to CME Group (as a client, employee, or selling to CME-related firms) is advantageous
- Established network of connections with trading firms, hedge funds, or institutional participants in derivatives and digital asset sectors
- Proficient in binary options, derivatives mechanics, or exchange-traded products
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving market environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with legal, compliance, and product teams to navigate regulatory complexities
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex products clearly to diverse audiences
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $250,000 per year, consisting of base pay, RSU equity, and annual bonus.
