SAR Analyst - France

This role presents an exciting chance to join the largest cryptocurrency exchange in terms of trading volume and users. You will contribute to establishing the compliance management function at Binance France, reporting to the MLRO.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and address escalated cases, providing guidance to stakeholders on appropriate actions.
• Recognize suspicious activities and seek advice on related cases from the MLRO.
• Maintain a log of cases, ensuring timely review and resolution of escalations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the quality of SARs and maintain consistency.
• Engage in pertinent internal and external programs related to AML/CFT and other relevant topics.
• Fulfill general administration tasks aligned with the above functions per business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Profound comprehension of local regulations and compliance requirements, with expertise in upcoming virtual currency policies.
• 3-5 years of experience in investigations, SAR filing, or regulatory roles at a financial institution or fintech company.
• Strong attention to detail, data-driven, and action-oriented approach with high standards.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication in French and English, along with robust analytical and investigative skills.
• Preferably a crypto enthusiast, with direct experience in the field.
• Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing high case volumes.
• Proficiency in relevant applications and programs like Elliptic, Chainalysis, TRM, and World-Check.
