The primary objective of this role is to unite and propel security initiatives within different divisions, including:
- Coordinating and enforcing security guidelines within engineering teams.
- Implementing quality and security metrics for various product ranges.
- Supporting the maintenance of current certifications following the First Level Security Certification Scheme (CSPN).
Ledger is presently seeking a proficient Security Project Manager to contribute to enhancing our product security protocols.
Role Definition
Project Management:
Efficiently plan, execute, and supervise security-centric projects from commencement to conclusion. Ensure projects are delivered promptly and remain within budgetary limits.
Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to delineate project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Track project advancement, pinpoint risks and challenges, and enact strategies to mitigate potential hurdles and ensure favorable project results.
Foster strong communication with all stakeholders, both internal and external.
Security Oversight
Develop all documentation correlated to various prerequisites: assessment records, security objectives, cryptographic mechanisms descriptions. Propose technical solutions to facilitate certification implementation and upkeep.
Formulate the necessary documentation for security evaluations.
Stakeholder Engagement
Disseminate project updates, status reports, and results to senior management, stakeholders, and cross-functional groups.
Conduct meetings, workshops, and training sessions to liaise with internal teams and bolster awareness of security practices.
Qualifications
- Ability to swiftly adapt, embrace new technologies, and exhibit flexibility.
- Proficiency in CPSN/CC security assessment schemes.
- Hands-on experience with conducting and managing a product certification program, either from an implementation or an auditing perspective.
- Profound understanding of cryptographic mechanisms (e.g., symmetric, asymmetric cryptography, Hash, DH).
- Fluency in English language.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Demonstrated project management aptitude, including competence in Gantt charts and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Capable of clear and effective internal and external communication (security teams, development teams, etc.).
- Knowledge or motivation to learn about upcoming regulations and their probable impact on Ledger (e.g., Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), Network and Information Security 2 (NIS2), EUCC scheme).
- Familiarity with blockchain is a bonus.
