What You'll be Responsible for: 

Circle is searching for an outstanding Senior Accountant to contribute to the Digital Assets and Investments team. In this role, you will lead all accounting operations related to digital assets and investments, managing tasks like reconciliations, journal entries, anomaly monitoring, data analysis, reporting, and process enhancement. Through collaboration with global accounting teams, you will address month-end closing, financial reporting, and audit support specifically regarding corporate digital assets, while closely working with various internal teams.

Tasks You'll Handle: 

  • Overseeing month-end closure procedures for digital assets and investments.
  • Conducting analytical reviews to ensure accurate financial recording and analysis of account modifications for the general ledger and financial statements.
  • Supporting crucial reporting disclosures and regulatory filings.
  • Identifying areas for process enhancement and collaborating with other departments to automate and improve reporting processes.
  • Providing reporting needs to cross-functional teams and ensuring accuracy for product launches.
  • Assisting in implementing accounting software and ERP systems for digital assets.
  • Contributing to compliance with SOX, audit, and tax related requirements.
  • Undertaking special accounting projects and analyses as requested.

Qualifications for Circle: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of accounting experience.
  • Preferred experience at a Big 4 firm and CPA credential.
  • Proficient in detailed reconciliations and data-intensive tasks.
  • Strong grasp of technical accounting and regulatory compliance.
  • Passion for process improvement and automation.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive working style.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage workloads effectively.
  • Uphold confidentiality and possess a high level of integrity.
  • Familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.

Additional Information: 

This position offers PERM sponsorship for eligible candidates upon hire.

Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and business needs.

Base Pay Range: $102,500 - $137,500

Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%

Additional Benefits: Equity, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), discretionary vacation policy, 10 days of paid sick leave annually, and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
