What you will achieve with us:
- Undertake a pivotal role with extensive exposure to finance, blockchain operations, and digital assets. Collaborate closely with various teams to optimize financial processes in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Take ownership of financial operations and reporting, including month-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Implement improvements to financial policies, controls, and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability. Provide real-time financial insights for strategic decision-making.
- Manage financial operations related to virtual goods and digital transactions, ensuring accurate accounting treatment. Work with internal departments to establish best practices for tracking, custody, and valuation of digital assets. - Partner with department leaders to develop, manage, and analyze budgets for both fiat and digital assets. Offer variance analysis and real-time forecasting insights to support data-driven financial decisions.
- Handle semi-monthly and off-cycle payroll processing for US and Canadian employees, ensuring accurate tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
