Job Summary:
We are in search of a motivated Group Reporting Senior Associate to join our finance team. In this role, you will be pivotal in overseeing precise and timely group financial reporting. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with stakeholders to collect and evaluate financial data, develop reports, and contribute to the audit and consolidation processes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements following IFRS guidelines.
- Aid in the consolidation of multiple entities to ensure accuracy and prompt submission.
- Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions.
- Generate detailed analyses of consolidated financial results, including variance assessments and commentary.
- Assist in creating and implementing new accounting policies and procedures related to consolidation.
- Compile audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as necessary.
- Coordinate with various departments to obtain financial information.
- Stay abreast of IFRS developments and their impact on group reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is highly desirable.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in group consolidation and financial reporting, preferably in a multinational setting.
- Proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
