Responsibilities:

  • Providing solutions for database instances' migration, including upgrading instances without downtime and spanning multiple regions.
  • Reviewing SQL statements for swift database schema migration tasks.
  • Redesigning database schema in existing instances concerning current applications.
  • Managing database instances' parameters to ensure fast query responses and offering both proactive and reactive data management support.
  • Establishing, enforcing, and documenting database policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conducting tests and evaluations to guarantee database stability, data security, privacy, and integrity.
  • Monitoring database performance, implementing changes, and applying patches and updates as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related discipline or equivalent certification.

  • Hands-on knowledge of database standards.
  • Sound understanding of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL statements.
