In alignment with our goal of fostering an open platform, Ledger is currently seeking an individual to fill the Head of Developer Relations role. This position is pivotal and entails working closely with developers, driving engagement, and building awareness around Ledger's platform. The Head of Developer Relations will lead the DevRel team in engaging, inspiring, and educating developers. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our engineering team, possessing strong communication skills, a flair for writing, and a sociable nature.
Responsibilities
- Lead a global team of developer advocates and technical educators to cultivate a strong technical community.
- Formulate and execute strategies to enhance developer engagement with and integration of Ledger Live.
- Supervise developer content marketing initiatives, encompassing various channels such as blog posts, web copy, email campaigns, newsletters, events, and podcasts.
- Manage the developer journey from the website, documentation, to tools, ensuring a cohesive experience.
- Develop compelling product demonstrations, tutorials, and videos for promotional purposes.
- Organize external events like hackathons to engage the developer community.
- Manage and improve communication channels for developers, such as Slack, Discord, Discourse, and others.
- Gather, analyze, and disseminate developer insights to product and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to effectively launch new services, features, and enhancements through the developer community.
- Explore innovative strategies to better serve the Ledger technical community.
Requirements
- Possess 10+ years of experience in building and managing community programs within Developer Relations, Technical Community Management, or related domains.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships both in written and verbal forms.
- Proven track record of employing an analytical and data-driven approach in nurturing communities.
- Experience in handling challenging community situations with empathy, sound judgment, and diplomacy.
- Understanding blockchain technology, security concepts, and relevant communities is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with coding is preferred.
