We are looking for a seasoned Senior Manager to manage the revenue department, ensuring precise forecasting, client interactions, and addressing revenue-related queries effectively. The ideal candidate will be accountable for streamlining the invoicing process, enforcing adherence to accounting standards, and delivering revenue projections in line with business growth objectives. This position will be pivotal in shaping the revenue strategy, resolving client issues promptly, and is expected to grow into a Finance lead role within three years.
The Senior Manager role requires sound expertise in system development, quick adaptability, and a proactive approach to enhance procedures while driving operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Management:
Supervise the complete revenue cycle from invoicing to collection.
Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition adhering to accounting standards.
Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenues based on business trends and client contracts.
Offer insights and analytics to identify future revenue growth opportunities.
Client Coordination:
Act as the primary finance liaison for client financial matters, including invoicing and payment queries.
Resolve issues related to invoices and discrepancies effectively,
Collaborate with sales, legal, and operations teams to ensure seamless communication with clients.
Aging and Collections:
Monitor and manage client receivables and aging reports.
Report promptly on overdue accounts and work collaboratively with the collection team to resolve payment issues.
Ensure proper escalation and follow-up procedures for aged receivables.
Management Reporting:
Address senior management queries on revenue performance and financial health.
Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with a focus on revenue analytics.
Develop and maintain dashboards to track key financial metrics.
Accounting and Compliance:
Ensure accurate accounting of revenue transactions in compliance with local regulations.
Assist in audits and monitor adherence to internal controls in revenue-related processes.
Revenue Forecasting:
Collaborate with sales and finance teams to develop detailed revenue forecasts based on historical data and business pipelines.
Provide scenario-based analysis for potential client growth and risk assessments.
System Development:
Improve financial systems and reporting tools by collaborating with IT and finance teams.
Identify and implement system upgrades to enhance invoicing processes and revenue tracking.
Support automation of financial reporting for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
- 8-10 years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in managerial capacity overseeing revenue functions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel.
- Quick learner with strong adaptability to new technologies and business processes.
- Readiness to initiate process enhancements and drive efficiencies.
