We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Manager to manage the revenue function effectively. This role involves overseeing revenue cycles, ensuring accurate forecasting, handling client coordination, and addressing revenue-related queries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for streamlining the invoicing process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing revenue forecasts aligned with business development. Additionally, the Senior Manager will play a crucial role in revenue strategy and resolving client concerns efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities
Revenue Management:
Supervise the complete revenue cycle, including invoicing and collections.
Ensure precise and timely revenue recognition adhering to relevant accounting standards.
Forecast revenue on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis based on client contracts and market trends.
Offer insights and analytics for identifying future revenue growth prospects.
Client Coordination:
Act as the key finance contact for client-related financial matters such as invoicing and payments.
Resolve issues related to invoice formatting and discrepancies.
Collaborate with sales, legal, and operations teams to facilitate clear communication and financial transactions with clients.
Aging and Collections:
Monitor and manage client receivables along with aging reports.
Provide timely updates to management concerning overdue accounts and collaborate with collections team to resolve outstanding balances.
Ensure proper escalation and follow-up on aged receivables.
Management Reporting:
Address senior management queries related to revenue performance, client aging, and financial status.
Prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis focusing on revenue analytics and insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor essential financial metrics.
Accounting and Compliance:
Ensure accurate accounting for revenue and client transactions complying with local regulations and accounting standards.
Assist in audits and guarantee adherence to internal controls within all revenue-related processes.
Revenue Forecasting:
Collaborate with sales and finance teams to create detailed revenue forecasts using historical data and business pipelines.
Provide scenario-based analysis for potential client growth and risk evaluations.
System Development:
Collaborate with IT and financial teams to enhance financial systems and reporting tools.
Identify and implement improvements in systems to optimize invoicing, revenue recognition, and client management processes.
Support the automation of financial reporting and revenue tracking for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
- 8-10 years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position overseeing revenue functions.
- Profound understanding of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to swiftly adapt to new technologies and tools, along with a willingness to drive process improvements at the foundational level.
