Senior Motion Designer - Paid Advertisement
We are in search of a skilled Senior Motion Designer with expertise in motion design and video editing to become an integral part of our team and enhance our short-form paid and social video content.
Our company, a prominent cryptocurrency super app, caters to over 300 million users globally by providing a secure platform for trading, investing, and managing digital assets. The Global Creative Team is responsible for shaping the public image of our company through developing impactful campaigns, brand systems, and creative assets that convey innovation, trust, and accessibility on a large scale.
Responsibilities
- Create animated short-form videos optimized for various social platforms like Meta, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
- Edit user-generated content and motion graphics in accordance with trending formats suitable for short-form platforms.
- Collaborate closely with the brand, creative, and paid teams to maintain visual consistency across brand and marketing projects.
- Keep abreast of competitors' advertisements and global creative trends to stay ahead.
- Utilize a data-driven approach and have a solid understanding of creative performance metrics.
- Implement a modular approach to editing by analyzing, combining, and repurposing successful elements to drive desired outcomes.
- Utilize AI tools for improved and expedited production enhancement.
- Conceptualize, experiment with, and refine new content formats based on performance insights.
- Lead and mentor junior motion designers.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in motion design with a strong marketing design background (agency, in-house, or startup).
- Showcase a robust portfolio with creative, strategic, and clear brand and marketing design work on various channels.
- Ability to transform scripts, footage, or design boards into engaging and coherent videos.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively under tight deadlines.
- Exhibit a distinct point of view on brand and visual storytelling.
Motion Graphics Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, including relevant plugins for animation, editing, kinetic typography, and infographics.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and CapCut.
Graphic Design Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Figma.
- Solid foundation in composition, typography, and visual aesthetics.
Performance Planning:
- Thorough grasp of paid media algorithms and platform-specific formats.
- Experience in working with narrative structures that captivate audiences.
- Stay current with visual trends and aware of their impact.
AI Tools Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience with AI tools like Higgsfield, LTX, Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, Kling, and similar AI platforms.
Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in storyboarding and crafting storylines for animation.
- Basic sound design capabilities.
- Ability to strategically incorporate sound effects to boost engagement and retention.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
