About the Role
In light of our expanding services to include traditional finance (TradFi) products, this role is accountable for overseeing the operational processes related to offerings such as equities, ETFs, and tokenized equities. The responsibilities entail managing reconciliations with clearing brokers, handling corporate actions, and supporting operations across Product, Tech, and Customer Support departments. Given the early-stage nature of these products, a key part of this role involves establishing and refining the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and controls crucial to their operation.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the seamless daily operations of TradFi products in compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory standards.
Develop, sustain, and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Implement and manage operational risk management protocols to mitigate market and operational risks.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of equities corporate actions.
Manage reconciliation between the company and clearing brokers, including resolving breaks and escalating issues.
Collaborate closely with Product and Tech teams to facilitate new product launches and workflow design.
Serve as the key operations point of contact for intricate TradFi-related cases raised by Customer Support, ensuring their resolution.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the TradFi sector, preferably in securities, brokerage, or exchange operations.
Proficient in trade operations concerning equities and ETFs; exposure to listed derivatives like futures/perpetuals is advantageous.
Hands-on involvement in corporate actions, reconciliation processes, clearing, settlement, or trade support/middle office functions.
Skillful in creating clear SOPs and designing operational controls.
Ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Tech, Compliance, and Customer Support realms.
Knowledgeable about regulatory principles and industry standards concerning brokerage operations and protecting client assets.
