Senior Product Motion Designer

About the role:

The Senior Motion Designer collaborates closely with product, graphic, and 3D designers to craft mesmerizing motion and visual elements utilized across various products and web interfaces. Working within a small visual team, this role holds significant influence over the visual identity of widely-used services worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Explore and suggest novel ways to incorporate motion into the application and website experiences
• Apply motion design across all product levels, spanning micro-interactions, data visualizations, icons, and illustrations
• Enhance existing static elements with dynamic animations
• Choose appropriate tools for specific tasks and seamlessly transition between them
• Develop files in a clear and shareable manner
• Establish efficient workflows to manage multiple workstreams and projects simultaneously
• Collaborate with different teams, generate concepts, present work, handle timelines, and gather feedback
• Coordinate with developers to accurately implement animations and motion graphics

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional motion designer
• Strong interest in and knowledge of contemporary visual culture
• Proficient in After Effects and adept at modern tools like Cavalry, Rive, and web-based animation platforms (GSAP, CSS, etc.)
• Competence in the Adobe suite and experience with LottieFiles and animation preparation for developers
• Familiarity with fundamental concepts of Figma
