Role Overview:
As an SDET at Ledger, you will work with a team of QA Automation Engineers to create tools and processes that empower product squads to autonomously manage test automation and uphold the quality of their outputs.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing tools to enhance the quality assurance process across all stakeholders of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Establishing new and maintaining existing workflows for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Crafting and evolving test automation frameworks.
- Developing and implementing effective automation testing processes and methodologies.
- Integrating automated testing into Quality Assurance practices.
- Collaborating with various teams through workshops and pair-programming sessions.
- Engaging with product squads to communicate enhancements, share strategies, best practices, and lessons learned.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in developing test automation solutions using TypeScript.
- Proficiency in a web automation testing framework like Playwright, Detox, or Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end testing tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of development processes, design patterns, and programming principles.
- Previous experience in designing workflows and constructing CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills in English.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to embrace new trends and drive beneficial changes.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in testing and automating blockchain products.
- Familiarity with Java or other programming languages.
- Proficiency with AWS, Docker containers, Kubernetes.
- Fluency in French.
