Senior/Staff DevOps Engineer, Trading Technology

We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join us as a Senior DevOps Engineer or DevOps Architect (Staff) to enhance our infrastructure and configuration management capabilities significantly.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will involve leveraging your expertise to design, implement, and maintain large-scale critical systems. You will be tasked with enhancing infrastructure solutions, streamlining deployment processes, aiding system migrations in collaboration with Development and QA teams. Your key duties will encompass advancing infrastructure architecture, automating workflow operations, improving system observability, and creating scalable solutions to preempt potential production issues effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain tools that automate operational tasks and boost engineering efficiency.
• Implement automation systems for continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management.
• Design and deploy configuration and infrastructure solutions for internal deployments.
• Resolve software issues by troubleshooting and diagnosis.
• Track and rectify technical concerns promptly.
• Identify architectural enhancements, propose process refinements.
• Assess new technology options and vendor resources in line with business goals.
• Uphold critical system security by applying top-notch security measures.

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of technical experience in a similar role supporting large-scale production systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in Linux-based environments.
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale, distributed environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or equivalent languages.
• Expertise in tools such as Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and related technologies.
• Bonus points for familiarity with Kafka and Elasticsearch, though not mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
