Position Overview:
We are seeking an innovative thinker with a strong interest in social media, storytelling, and user engagement to steer Xapo Bank's social media marketing and PR efforts. The ideal candidate will create and execute strategies to enhance Xapo's market visibility.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Create and organize a content calendar for timely distribution.
- Produce engaging content (videos, images, text) for various social media platforms.
- Lead social media experiments on new platforms and diverse content formats.
- Execute organic social media campaigns to elevate event and partnership promotions.
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices.
- Manage and build social media communities by interacting with followers and fostering positive conversations.
- Utilize data to optimize content and enhance engagement.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing social media activities and providing key insights.
PR and Communications Responsibilities:
- Manage the PR agency relationship to align with Xapo's business and marketing objectives.
- Draft press releases for company announcements, product launches, and events.
- Act as the primary media contact for PR inquiries and provide timely responses.
- Contribute to internal and external communications, including newsletters, announcements, and presentations.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, and public relations.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, scheduling, and analytics tools.
- Strong knowledge of social media best practices and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with solid copywriting abilities.
- Highly creative with proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret social media data.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with demonstrated project management skills.
