Description
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial budgeting processes across multiple businesses within the organization. This will include working closely with different business units to ensure alignment of financial initiatives with local strategies, identifying risks and opportunities, evaluating project returns, and determining investment priorities. In addition to financial forecasting and analysis, you will play a crucial role in various Investor Relations activities, managing portfolios in subsidiaries, and leading financial transformation initiatives at a group level.
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial budgeting process by collaborating with business units to align group-level initiatives with local strategies, assess project ROIs, and prioritize investments.
- Develop and utilize financial models to provide data analytics that enhance understanding of business conditions and evaluate the economic implications of business decisions.
- Serve as the main point of contact for subsidiaries and group-level businesses, analyzing performance trends and identifying causes of unexpected variances.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis based on products, channels, and partners, and provide actionable insights to improve business scalability and profitability.
- Offer decision support through continuous monitoring of business drivers, industry trends, and competitive analyses.
- Prepare and present financial analysis reports to senior management on a regular and ad-hoc basis to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Drive enhancements in the overall finance function, focusing on innovation, automation, and optimization of reporting, planning, and analysis processes.
- Manage Investor Relations activities by distributing regular reports to major investors and addressing inquiries.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, fundraising efforts, by developing valuation models, overseeing due diligence, and participating in strategic discussions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in FP&A, Corp Dev, Investment Banking, strategy consulting, or similar roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; Master’s or MBA degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis and strong communication skills.
- Candidate must be a motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to adapt to ambiguous situations and establish best practices.
