The Finance and Accounting (F&A) team is a diverse group responsible for multiple functions such as Financials Control, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury, and Operations. Working together, the team focuses on optimizing global finance initiatives and thrives on attention to detail while managing multiple project scopes simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare corporate income tax returns and GST/VAT returns
- Maintain tax administration tools with precision, like cash tax trackers and professional fee budget trackers
- Input tax and transfer pricing journal entries accurately into the accounting system
- Collaborate with local and international colleagues and external tax service providers regarding tax filings, projects, and inquiries
- Stay informed on tax regulations across various jurisdictions and understand their impact on the organization
- Conduct independent or collaborative research on topics like crypto tax, corporate tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing
- Perform additional tasks as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business; advanced degrees like CPA preferred
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting and tax; familiarity with Transfer Pricing and crypto tax beneficial
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data manipulation functions
- Experience with HK corporate taxes or international tax systems
- Ability to communicate tax issues clearly and precisely
- Strong analytical, project management, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the capability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
