The Role
IFT is seeking a dynamic Head of Investor Engagement & Fundraising to join their remote team. The primary responsibility is to cultivate relationships with stakeholders and the community in the Web3 ecosystem to advance fundraising efforts and support the organization's growth.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in Web3 technology, a strong grasp of the investor landscape, and a demonstrated track record in effectively engaging investors within emerging industries. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a well-capitalized Web3 startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive investor engagement strategy aligned with project objectives.
- Proactively establish and maintain relationships with various investors, including traditional, crypto, and high net worth individuals.
- Build confidence and support for IFT's mission, strategy, and the diverse projects within the portfolio.
- Communicate financial and business performance, progress, and future plans to investors and stakeholders.
- Coordinate investor events, earnings calls, and ensure transparent communication within the organization.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and best practices in investor relations within the Web3 ecosystem.
What You Bring
- Strong experience and passion for Web3 technology and its impact.
- Alignment with organizational principles and values.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of investor relations experience in the Web3 ecosystem.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation methods.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for engaging investors and communities.
- Ability to manage priorities, work under deadlines, and attention to detail.
- Track record of successful investor relations management.

- Prior experience in open-source organizations.
- Background in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

Compensation
The anticipated compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000 USD annually, with consideration for skills and experience during the interview process. A performance bonus incentive is included, and the option for payment in fiat or cryptocurrency.
