Bitcastle is a cryptocurrency exchange and Forex (FX) platform which aims to create a new age of exchange where everyone can use it safely and have fun. As we expand and take a more active approach to global expansion, bitcastle is looking to hire a Full-Time Accountant to join our team.
About the Role: 
The Accountant will be responsible for handling the full set of accounts and daily accounting operations for subsidiaries of the Bitcastle Group. You will perform bookkeeping tasks, prepare financial reports, and support the Finance team in ensuring accurate and timely financial information for management decision-making.
Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain full set of accounts for assigned entities within Bitcastle Group
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports for management review
Assist in the preparation of group financial consolidation reports
Prepare tax filing documents and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
Prepare cashflow management reports and perform bank reconciliation
Perform crypto wallet and exchange reconciliation
Record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments accurately and timely
Support profit and loss reporting and basic financial analysis
Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting systems and processes
Prepare financial data required for transfer pricing documentation
 
Collaborate with the Finance team to identify accounting issues and propose solutions
Coordinate with the data team to ensure accuracy of automated reports capturing revenue, expenses, and cryptocurrency balances
Requirements: 
Min N2 Japanese language proficiency
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience handling full set accounts
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheet
Preferred Qualification:
Experience in crypto or forex industry
Tech-savvy and comfortable with adopting new technologies

About the Role: 
We are looking for a Fraud Monitoring Executive to join the Bitcastle team. In this role, you will manage and oversee fraud monitoring processes to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities and unusual transaction patterns within our forex trading platform. You will ensure timely review and escalation of fraud alerts, maintain compliance with internal standards, and support reporting to management for effective risk management.
Manage and oversee scenarios embedded in the Fraud Monitoring System and fraud risk indicators to monitor internal and external activities for fraudulent behavior and unusual transaction patterns
Ensure fraud monitoring processes comply with the company's code of conduct and adhere to the highest standards of ethics
Conduct timely reviews of fraud alerts and ensure proper escalation and closure through the appropriate channels
Prepare periodic reports for management on the results of fraud monitoring, including corrective actions taken
Use monitoring results and evaluations to standardize fraud monitoring processes and highlight risks noted during reviews to report them to relevant business units
Requirements: 
At least 2-3 years of working experience in fraud monitoring, investigations, or compliance
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving
Preferred Qualification:
Relevant certifications in analytical techniques, fraud investigation, or decision-making
Experience in fraud monitoring within forex, financial institutions, or trading platforms o
Japanese Language (good to have)

We are currently seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Full-time Hackintosh iOS Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing iOS applications for our Hackintosh platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Web, Mobile, and Software Development, Engineering & Architecture, Customer Service, and Accounting and Consulting Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and implementing iOS applications for our Hackintosh platform
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Troubleshooting application bugs and implementing solutions
- Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Providing technical support and guidance to users as needed
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an iOS Developer or similar role
- Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Xcode

Responsibilities

Build & Automate:

Reimagine and optimize finance procedures from end to end, such as P2P processes, approvals, payments, intercompany activities, reconciliations, and providing close support.

Identify repetitive or manual tasks for automation using ERP workflows, bots, scripts, RPA, and AI tools.

Devise scalable approval systems and controls to accommodate transaction growth without expanding team size.

Collaborate with Product/Engineering teams to integrate financial systems and APIs.

Evaluate and implement various automation tools like RPA, OCR, AI-based invoice capture, and workflow engines.

Own Systems:

Act as the primary overseer of finance systems including approval tools and payment platforms.

Lead system implementations, enhancements, and integrations.

Create dashboards and performance metrics to monitor efficiency, bottlenecks, and compliance with SLAs.

Transition from manual spreadsheet-based approaches to more scalable system-driven solutions.

Lead Operations:

Supervise and mentor a team of around 10 members.

Establish clear performance indicators relating to turnaround time, accuracy, and productivity.

Ensure seamless day-to-day operations that are reliable and compliant with audit standards.

Strike a balance between operational stability and enhancing processes.

Controls & Risk:

Design streamlined yet robust approval frameworks and enforce segregation of duties.

Enhance audit readiness and regulatory compliance in the dynamic crypto environment.

Mitigate operational and fraud risks via system-based controls instead of manual checks.

Scale with the Business:

Support the growth of new entities, markets, and product launches by implementing scalable processes.

Expand the scope of shared services without a linear increase in headcount.

Act as a liaison for Treasury, Accounting, and other cross-functional counterparts.

Requirements:

Prior 7–10 years of experience in accounting operations, shared services, or finance transformation roles.

Demonstrated experience in leading teams in fast-paced or startup settings.

Possess a strong inclination towards automating processes.

Proficient with ERP and workflow tools like NetSuite, Workday, or similar platforms.

Hands-on expertise in deploying RPA, automation, or AI tools such as OCR/AP automation.

Willingness to engage directly in configuring tools, not solely managing vendors.

Strong abilities in process design and problem-solving.

Previous exposure to the crypto/fintech/startup domains would be advantageous.

CPA/CA accreditation is beneficial but not obligatory.
