About this role in the team:
We are seeking a dynamic and analytically sound Treasury Analyst to support daily liquidity management, financial reporting, and reconciliations under the direction of the Head of Treasury & Payments. This position is set to be filled in Q1 of 2024.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Liaison with Treasury team on Net Asset Value reporting, conducting in-depth assessments of asset and liability fluctuations
- Assisting in daily liquidity management and cash flow monitoring
- Managing counterparty risk effectively and ensuring adherence to internal treasury policies on a daily basis
- Contribution to safeguarding reconciliation and related cash flow management
- Providing recommendations based on thorough trend analysis via Treasury reporting, dashboards, and data scrutiny
- Maintaining daily oversight of internal wallet balances and reconciliations
- Reviewing statements and offering financial advice
- Building strong professional relationships with partner institutions, merchants, and operational departments
- Supporting Treasury leadership in financial decision-making
- Completing daily reconciliations of client and corporate funds
- Conducting comparisons between internal system balances and external sources
- Investigating reconciliation discrepancies and breaks
- Collaborating with Data & Treasury teams to automate asset and liability reporting
- Supporting the broader finance team with spontaneous requests
What we need from you:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Excel and relevant awareness of crypto and blockchain
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to present statistical findings and communicate workflows effectively
- Background in finance, financial risk management, financial accounting, auditing, or similar field
- Previous experience in financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting
