Description

Flipster is looking for an experienced professional in the crypto industry to lead the VIP Account Manager team, providing guidance and support for the team's training, management, and development. Utilizing expertise in relationship management, client services, and in-depth knowledge of the Flipster platform and cryptocurrency trading, the role involves supporting and retaining VIP clients while driving improvements in product solutions, communication channels, and the overall VIP user experience on the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact for multiple VIP clients, nurturing existing relationships through regular communication and understanding their specific needs.
  • Identify opportunities for client growth and secure necessary resources to help them succeed.
  • Guide clients in navigating Flipster's products, VIP services, and platform updates, and facilitate client VIP upgrades and product configurations.
  • Conduct user behavior analysis, monitor client status, identify unmet needs, and generate key customer analysis reports for major clients.
  • Coach and manage the VIP Manager team, establishing best practices for VIP retention.
  • Handle escalations and follow up on VIP inquiries with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Training Materials.
  • Maintain accurate administrative records and prepare regular reports.
  • Undertake other projects and tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management or sales roles within financial/trading institutions.
  • Proficient in product knowledge gained from working in exchanges, brokerage firms, or trading companies.
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles is essential.
  • Strong client management skills, including relationship building, client organization, and incentivization of client engagement.
  • Exceptional communication skills and adaptability in diverse situations.
  • Proven experience in managing remote teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle pressure and collaborate effectively in a 24/7 trading environment.
  • Passion for cryptocurrency, with preferred industry experience.
  • Native Korean proficiency in both spoken and written language.
  • Business-level proficiency in English.

We are looking for a Senior DS/ML Engineer to help us make data-driven decisions across fraud detection, Lightning Network liquidity optimization, user behavior modeling, and risk scoring for the crypto card.
You won't just build models — you'll help shape the ML infrastructure of a fast-growing crypto-payments startup.
What You'll Do
Fraud & Risk ML — Develop anomaly detection models, transaction scoring for withdrawals, and real-time predictive rules to flag suspicious activity.
Lightning Network optimization — Build models to optimize payment routing, channel liquidity management, and predict channel health.
Crypto card infrastructure — Create credit risk models and user scoring for card issuance without traditional credit history.
LTV & churn prediction — Forecast user behavior to improve retention and conversion, especially in low-crypto-adoption countries.
Product & growth analytics — Develop ML-driven hypotheses for A/B testing and recommendation systems (e.g., which gift cards to offer).
