Responsibilities:

  • Be involved in the monthly and yearly group reporting process, including creating consolidation schedules and working papers.
  • Validate and review financial data from subsidiaries to ensure accuracy and completeness in group submissions.
  • Update reporting templates, consolidation systems, and data mapping structures.
  • Conduct variance analysis and give initial commentary on financial outcomes.
  • Assist in ad hoc reporting, reconciliations, and analytical reviews as directed by the Senior Associate or Group Reporting Manager.
  • Support both internal and external audit procedures by preparing deliverables and addressing inquiries.
  • Contribute to process enhancement projects to boost efficiency and data accuracy in group reporting.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Possess 1–3 years of relevant experience in areas like accounting, audit, or financial reporting (experience in group reporting or consolidation is beneficial).
  • Have a solid grasp of accounting principles and basic knowledge of consolidation concepts.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel; exposure to financial consolidation or ERP systems like NetSuite is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; a keen learner eager to advance in group reporting.
  • Exhibit good communication skills and a cooperative approach to collaborating within a regional or global finance team.
